1pt each-way double on today's selections @ 7/2, 6/1 (Generally, use a guaranteed odds bookmaker) - E/W place double
3.45 Brighton Amba 3pts win @ 6/1 (Generally, get guaranteed)
Has clearly been difficult to train as a six year old with so few runs under her belt but since joining Des Donovan has hinted at ability on more than one occasion. Her run last time out was probably the most interesting yet, in a first time hood she tried to make all on the rail at Yarmouth, and showed enough speed over the seven furlong trip to take her clear early doors. She got tired a couple of furlong out but rallied well, it was also interesting that the race developed up the middle of the track and given that her jockey did so much so soon, it was pleasing to see her run all the way to the line. The step back in trip should suit on that basis, and today's race looks akin to a drop in class. Tom Queally is bopoked for the ride and she looks a good price at 6/1.
4.15 Brighton Ryedale Lass 5pts win @ 7/2 (Generally, get guaranteed)
Looks very progressive and in fact I would make her more like a 9/4 shot today. It doesn't look the best of contests and the defensive pricing of the Curley trained Shouda seems to have left her artificially big. He doesn't match the profile of a typical Curley gamble, and I'm not sure Bouggatti, who is next best, will be quite ready even after a fairly promising run at Sandown. Ryedale Lass looks to be improving fast and we'll have a confident bet at a generous looking 7/2.
