3.05 Cheltenham
Cross Kennon 3pts win @ 11/1 (Stan James, Betpack.com, 10/1 generally guaranteed)
Kayf Aramis 1pt each-way AND 1pt win @ 25/1 (Generally, get guaranteed)
A really interesting handicap, which will be run in bog like conditions and will take some getting. Cross Kennon is selected for his in form stable having returned to something like his best last time carrying a big weight up the hill, seeing his race out really well and only just touched off by a very unexposed Pipe horse who looks set for better things. Conditions are ideal for him and he remains very well handicapped on his best form.
Kayf Aramis is another who will have no problems with conditions. He faded tamely on his reappearance, but his stable's horses have really hit form now and they are generally profitable to back blind second time out. The reapplication of blinkers and booking of Sam Twiston-Davies to ride are major positives in my view, he possesses some very interesting figures from past Cheltenham form, and although he has not won for a couple of years, he looks overpriced at 25/1.
