Was fancied to beat Tartan Blue when they met last time out, but was really disappointing and notably did not corner well around Kempton's tight five furlong track. I am taking the chance here that going left handed suits her better, because the form of her win over five furlongs at Wolverhampton looks strong for the grade. Jamie Spencer again takes the ride, and it is worth noting he was in decent form around here yesterday, riding the sprint courses particularly well. It is crucial to be near the rail on the home bend, if the selection can handle that turn well I think she has the winning of this.

3.00 Lingfield Ajjaadd 4pts win @ 6/1 (VC Bet, Stan James, Betpack.com, William Hill, independents, guaranteed)

Interesting here that the two at the head of the market have never won at this distance. At the bare five furlongs, there is little room for error and I'm happier to select Ajjaadd from stall 1, who has an improving claimer on board and has been in good recent form. His speed figures match up well with the best on offer here, and if he gets a reasonable tow into the race from Even Stevens and Six Wives, while maintaining an inside berth against the rail, I think he has just enough in hand to get his head in front on the line. The form of his Kempton second looks strong, and I'm happy to disregard his last run over six furlongs.
