Not been the best of weeks for us but these things happen and I wouldn't be sweating it to be honest, a lot of the meetings we traditionally do well at are coming up and we've negotiated our traditional post-Cheltenham tricky patch quite well this year.
One selection for this afternoon.
2.45 Sandown Chil The Kite 5pts win @ 13/2 (Generally, get guaranteed)
From RP Bloodstock:
Chil The Kite is a horse I think has the potential to progress as a four year old in a similar manner to that in which his Dad did, developing into a top class performer with age. He steps up to Group 2 company today and entries in the Lockinge and Queen Anne suggests a Group 1 campaign is on the agenda. The booking of a jockey who is 2/2 on the horse is a positive, as is the fact that he has form on a switchback track with a Goodwood win to his name. There has been some rain at Sandown this morning which will take the sting out of the ground, and I think conditions will be perfect for Chil The Kite. He will enjoy every bit of this stiff finish, and unless Trumpet Major is at his very best (the market says perhaps not) then I think the selection has every chance of winning. His trainer's string have been in decent form and he is not renowned for being a handler who tilts at windmills.
